Sarah Aden is Glencoe High School's Rotary Student of the Month

Congratulations to Sarah Aden from Glencoe High School who is Hillsboro Rotary Club Student of the Month. Sarah received her Rotary award certificate accompanied by her parents, Jamad Warsame and Abdirizak Hassan, and GHS Language Arts teacher Avidan Yerlick. Having transferred to Glencoe sophomore year, Sarah jumped right in, joining student government which helped her open doors and gain new friendships. Through volunteering she is now ASB director of athletics and varsity tennis captain. Sarah feels that she thrives in leadership positions where she's able to collaborate with people and share ideas. Sarah plans to attend PSU and major in English on the pre-law track so that she can eventually become a lawyer. We wish her all the best as she graduates and continues her education!
