Glencoe High School Vocalists Score Big at Area Competition

Congratulations to vocalists from Glencoe High School who won multiple awards in several categories at a solo/ensemble contest event at Mountainside High School on March 8-9, 2025. Three groups that won first place in their categories will automatically advance to the state contest in May. Other state qualifiers may also be scheduled for the state competition pending the final scheduling. Awards were:

• Large Treble - SAs of Chamber, 1st place, auto-qualify for state
• Large Tenor/Bass - TBs of Chamber, 1st place, auto-qualify for state
• Large Mixed - Chamber Vocal Ensemble, 2nd place, 1st alternate for state
• Small Mixed - GHS Quartet, 1st place, auto-qualify for state
• Baritone Voice - Greyson Rowe, 3rd place, 2nd alternate for state
