Head Coach - Hired!
After a thorough search for the new Head Football Coach, Glencoe High School is proud to announce the hiring of Ian Reynoso.
Ian Reynoso graduated high school from Los Alamitos in California. Ian wrestled, participated in track & Field, and played football. Ian attributes his coaches in high school, particularly the football program, for providing him a structured, inclusive environment to thrive in. Not playing football until the first time his 9th grade year, Ian blossomed as an athlete. Ian worked religiously on his craft and his love of the game and eventually earned a full ride scholarship to the University of Oregon as a Center and Guard. Ian spent five years at the University of Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and two minors, Multimedia Design and Business. Ian continued down the educational path as he pursued George Fox University where he achieved his Master of Arts degree and earned his teaching credential.
Ian began his coaching career at North Marion High School in 2006 with coaching 3 seasons of football as the lineman coach and JV head coach. He also pursued throwing coach responsibilities in track with Shot and Disc. In the 2009 season, Ian shifted his football career to Tualatin High School where he assumed Varsity assistant duties and named the Head JV coach. Before being hired on at Glencoe, Ian Reynoso has been coaching Football for the past eight seasons. His Glencoe career has been stellar since being hired on in 2009. Ian has been a part of the football program as the Defensive Coordinator. He has also been a track coach during that same tenure with two years as the Co-Head Coach.
We are excited to have Ian as our football coach. He is a kid connector, goes out of his way to go above and beyond the call of duty. Ian brings excitement, enthusiasm, and a relentless perseverance. The Glencoe Student body highly respects him as both a coach and a teacher. In addition, Ian also has a beautiful family and is married to a former Glencoe Alum. Most know her as Elisa Reynoso, formerly Elisa Crumley who still holds the female record at Glencoe in Javelin. They have four lovely children together. Ian’s investment in this community K-12 is bar none and we look forward to starting this new chapter in this role.
Please Welcome Ian Reynoso as the Head Football Coach of Glencoe High School
